Some Tips to Save Bandwidth

You may have to open some sites but not the content but the site appears the phrase "Bandwidth Exceeded ...." whereas before the site can be opened normally. What problems occur.

Sentence is information explaining that the site is being opened has exceeded the limits allowed by badwitdth hosting provider sites. In order to serve targeted sites can be opened again with a normal view (no sentence Bandwidth Exceeded) must wait for the next month from the date of the first lease unless the owner of the site hosting the increase bandwidth by upgrading a fee.

If it happened to your blog or website, how to anticipate or at least how to save on bandwidth usage.

Before I explain some tips to save bandwidth, it helps me explain what it is and what causes bandwidt bandwidth exceeded.

The term bandwidth is always used by the hosting company offering hosting packages. Bandwidth is the size limit of the data traffic is allowed through your website to the rest of the Internet when accessed. In other words Bandwidth is the amount of data transfer allowed in a hosting package that would normally be calculated and accrued each month. For example, a hosting package with 1GB bandwidth limit, meaning to transfer 1GB of data per month is.

If a web page has a capacity of 100KB file later eg opened by 1,000 people per day, the unused bandwidth is 100KB x 1,000 = 100,000 KB or 100MB per day. So if 10 days = 100 MB x 10 = 1,000 MB or 1GB. This means that the next day the web is not accessible due to exceeded bandwidth limits allowed by the hosting provider.

So the cause of the bandwidth exceeded include:

    1. The number of page impressions are usually characterized by the many visitors who open a web page.

    2. The size of a web page. Usually, image and video files will be larger than the text.

    3. Template used has a large capacity files because too much use of high-resolution image as a background.

    4. Many who subscribe via RSS because RSS file will be accessed through the website or blog owner server.

    5. Bandwidth theft.

To save on bandwidth usage can be done several things including:
    1. Use the template that is not too much image or images.

   2. Collapse capacity image files by reducing the resolution, size, or file format. How can using Photoshop program. If the image file is more text than images are GIF file formats better because in addition will reduce the capacity of the file, as well as the quality of the image around still looks good. Conversely, if the image file is dominant image rather than text, use the JPG file format but set quality (low, medium, or high) but it should not be due to reducing the capacity of the file, the picture becomes less clear.

    3. Reduce the number of posts that appear on the main page for example 2-3 posts.

    4. Use readmore or read more facilities so that articles that appear to be cut. This way you can show some of the posts on the main page that uses readmore.

   5. Use another server if you use a large image such as Photobucket, Imageshack, etc. although of course the site also has a bandwidth. Examples replace with a , URL on the server will you get after becoming a member to the site and after gambart is uploaded.

Is Blogspot have unlimited bandwidth?
Blogspot or Blogger is a free hosting service from Google. You can add any number of pages (posts) to your blogspot blog, but there are limitations photo can be uploaded to your blogger posts. So there is a limit of 1GB for your blogspot drawing more than 7GB of storage for your Gmail. To see the limit and bandwidth usage, you simply log in to Picasa webalbums blogger with the username and password. Then click on settings on the right side and then click storage, there will appear a maximum bandwidth limit is 1GB but if you post any form of text I think not hawatir almost unlimited but it is different if the post has a lot of pictures. Google offers a way to purchase more storage space when you run out of free storage space in Gmail, Google Docs, Picasa Web Albums and Blogger (for photos). You can check the current memory usage or purchase additional storage at any time.

Free Memory
Free memory capacity vary by product type Google. Picasa Web Albums offers 1 GB of storage for photos and videos. Gmail provides 7GB and growing more reserved just for Gmail messages. Docs gives you 1 GB for documents spreadsheets, presentations, and file upload. Free storage from one product can not be used by or transferred to another product. All photos posted to Blogger are included in the free 1 GB of memory set aside for Picasa Web Albums.

Paid Storage
If you run out of free storage for any Google product, you can purchase additional storage that is shared between products. Shared memory can be used to upload Picasa Web Albums, Gmail messages, Docs content or a mix of all three. This memory will be used by any product that's over its free storage quota on a first come first served.
